Aspen Gold was used on the 1966 and 1967 Denver area High Country Special Mustang. It is a light to medium yellow named after the Colorado ski resort town and the aspen trees there that turn golden yellow in fall. Ford's original paint code was MX7058815 or MX708815 where it came from the 1959 to 1965 International Harvester truck. International called it Yellow or Light Yellow with code 4285-21. Dodge also offered this color as a special order with code DT2392. The color never became a standard Ford special order fleet color so a WT code was not assigned later.
